Riding a two-wheeler in the capital
Once on the bike seat, you must use the bike paths and respect the rules. The map of Paris by bike can be found on Paris.fr or at the Maison du vélo. For your safety, put on a reflective clothing or headband that will make you more visible to other users and wear a helmet if possible. Make sure you have the mandatory equipment: a bell, two brakes, front and rear lights and reflectors on the wheels and pedals.
To calculate your itinerary, we suggest Géovelo, a calculator that will allow you to select the most suitable itinerary for your bike, from the safest to the fastest.
