Le Centre Pompidou

Born from the will of Georges Pompidou, the center was inaugurated in 1977. Today it holds the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe with more than 76,000 works. Picasso, Matisse, Dali are exhibited there, among others. The temporary exhibitions also make it famous (about 25 per year). It is the 3rd most visited institution in France after the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.  Learn more
