Musee des Arts Decoratifs

Created in 1882 in the wake of the Universal Exhibitions, The Decorative Arts Museum is present on three sites in Paris. At 107 rue de Rivoli, the Museum of Decorative Arts presents, through its permanent collections (6000 works) and numerous exhibitions, a unique collection of objects of art, fashion and advertising, testifying to the art of living from the Middle Ages to the present day. At 111 rue de Rivoli, the Decorative Arts Library is a reference point specialising in the fields of decorative arts, design, graphic arts, architecture, art history, garden art, Costume and fashion, while the Carrousel workshops, workshops for artistic practice, welcome more than 1,900 students each year in 122 different courses
