Impressive elevation, cliffs, lookouts, suspension bridge and lawns, Buttes Chaumont Park is unlike any other. Inaugurated in 1867 by Napoleon III, the park is built on quarries, this explains its escarpment. It has a lake, an island, creeks, a waterfall and several bridges including a suspension bridge 65 meters above the lake.
