It will be a superstructure car park built next to the hospital. The architecture will be sober and elegant with a façade composed of industrial aluminium sections giving the appearance of visibility and transparency. Natural light will be favoured and each level will be beam-free and well-ventilated. The underground level -1 will be reserved for hospital staff. The car park will provide spaces for hourly and subscription vehicles, as well as some twenty ambulances.
This is a "minimal disturbance" site
To ensure this, Saemes has undertaken to:
• limit the risks and disturbances to local residents,
• limit the the health risks to workers,
• limit local pollution during completion of the work,
• limit the amount of waste produced by the site.
An Environmental-Quality manager will be named within the company who will act as the spokesperson for the Saemes Quality Manager and local residents.
Their will be permanent information on display and a special letterbox will be set up.
